Who you are dealing with

Guetshi is made by Alessandro Nicoli, Zürcherstrasse 53b, 8104 Weiningen, Switzerland, reachable at info@guetshi.app ("we", "us"). Installing or using the app means you accept these terms. If you do not, delete the app.

Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Guetshi on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not resell it, rent it, decompile it, or strip out its notices.

Guetshi Pro

The app is free. Guetshi Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple's In-App Purchase, and it unlocks iCloud sync, voucher scanning and unlimited reminders per voucher.

• The price and billing period are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation.
• It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings — we cannot cancel it for you.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms, not by us.
• "Restore purchases" in the app brings Pro back on a new device or after a reinstall, as long as you use the same Apple Account.
• If we ever change what Pro includes or what it costs, the change applies from your next billing period.

Your vouchers are yours to keep track of

Guetshi is a notebook with an alarm clock, not a guarantee. Reminders are scheduled by iOS and depend on your device: a phone that is off, a denied notification permission, an iOS update, a restore, or a device you no longer use can all mean a reminder does not arrive. The scanner reads printed text and can read it wrong — check what it filled in. You stay responsible for redeeming your vouchers on time. We are not liable for the value of a voucher that expires unused.

Your data

Your vouchers are stored on your device, and in your own iCloud account if you turn on sync. We do not hold them, so we cannot recover them for you. Keep a backup of your device if they matter. What the app does send is described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use Guetshi to store codes you are not entitled to use, or for anything unlawful.

No warranty, and the limit of our liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or lost voucher value. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to support the app. Apple is, however, entitled to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use the app means accepting the new version. You can end this agreement any time by deleting the app.

Governing law

Swiss law applies, and the place of jurisdiction is Zürich, Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence says otherwise.
